The girl lived in a small semi in the middle ofa boring town called Sansbrough. Her bedroom wall was shared with the bedroom in the house next door. In the bedroom in the house next door was a boy. This particular boy was gorgeous. He was about six foot, and had blondy-brown hair.He had only just moved in, but the girl often lay awake at night listening as hard as she could, trying to hear him on the other side of the wall.

The girls friends decided to play a prank on her. They were very good at computers, and she was not. All they did when they hacked into her laptop was change one tiny thing. The one tiny thing was very simple. It was the part that directed her emails.

A few days later, the girl logged onto her computer, and into an online dating website. She wanted a boyfriend to keep in her heart, and was having trouble finding one in real life.She had decided that online dating was the way to go.

She had been signed up to the online dating site for only a few days when she plucked up the courage to send an email to someone that she found on there. She was very brave in the email,and said things that she would have never had the courage to say in real life.

A reply came the very next day. It was a positive reply, and soon the girl was emailing the boy every day. After a few weeks she realised they were really close, and that she wanted to meet him in real life. This came after he had sent her an email saying that she was perfect and beautiful - all the things she wanted to hear.

He agreed to meet up with her. She was very excited, and spent the next24 hours hardly breathing as she waited for the email from him that would say where he lived. She had a student rail card, and so got cheap train tickets - she could go and see him anywhere in theuk!

The email came. She clicked on it with trembling fingers. She read it, and gasped. He lived in Sansbrough! She checked the rest of his address, and nearly fell off her chair in shock. He lived down her road! Not only did he live down her road, but he lived...next door!

Suddenly, the girl became very suspicious. She rang the mobile number he had given her, and listened very carefully. As the phone started ringing at her end, she herd a faint tune coming through the wall. The boy from the online datingsite was the gorgeous boy that lived next door!

She quickly rang her best friend to tell her what had happened, and to her surprise, her friend laughed. Her friend told her that they had managed to cross the lines of the two houses Internet, and that all the emails she had meant to send to the online dating boy had been sent next door! The girl was mortified! 'Noooooooooooooo!' she cried as she collapsed on her bed.
