Have you ever wanted to join an online dating site but never got the courage to actually do it? Well that was so me, I even had one certain dating site saved on my favorites but no matter what I could not get myself to fill out the details and sign up. It might have to do with the stereo type that is sometimes associated with online dating sites, that only the really desperate will join because they are incapable of finding their own mates. This is the way that I have always seen it, none of my friends would ever join a dating site, and they all go out all of the time and in this way meet people that they end up dating. This is also how I have always dated but I can certainly admit that I don't always meet the kind of guys that I really would like to meet.

I have never found a guy that is serious very mature and even handsome. That's because the guys I meet while going out are always young guys that are right at the point in life where they are having fun and are in no way looking for a serious relationship. Yes, they will be very hot and they know how to dance in a way that has them caressing your entire body and if I feel like it I can have a fast fling with them, but soon they have moved on and I will still be here waiting for the next one to come along, never really finding one guy that will want to stay and be a part if my life.

So even though it may be looked down upon and maybe my friends will think that I have fallen off my rocker, I am going to join a dating site. I just can't sit here any longer waiting for that perfect man to come along, I am obviously looking in all the wrong places so maybe this new place will make all the difference. I have given up hope that this perfect man is going to walk into one of the clubs I hang out in.

Once I find this special man maybe they will see that dating sites are not just for the desperate but also for the ones that areseriousabout finding their soul mate. Maybe they will give in and try it themselves, you never know but I hope it works out that way.
