My crazy best friend who's name is Samantha went on a first date last night with one of two guys that she met on an online dating site. I was so surprised when she first told me that she had signed up to the dating site, she's such a prettygirland she's never had a hard time meeting men at all but she explained that the guys that she was meeting where not the settling down kind so that's why she joined. She is hoping to find a guy that had ran around and had fun and is ready to just find the right girl to marry and have a family with. It actually touched my heart and made me feel for her to find this out, all this time I have been jealous of her and of how many dates she goes on without ever even giving a thought to the fact that she was going on so many in hopes of finding the right guy to settle down with.

So last night she went on this date and when the guy picked her up she was so excited, he had brought her a huge bouquet of roses, he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and told her she looked beautiful. It might sound a bit corny but watching it happen I thought it was very sweet and lovely and I wished them both a nice evening and watched them go off. Three hours later when she got home she was giddy and so happy, he had been a complete gentleman and she said she has plans with him again next weekend. She really enjoyed herself and then she told me that I too should join the same dating site so I could find a guy just like him.

That caught me by surprise but the more I think about it the more I think she may be right after all. I have not been part of a couple in over a year and maybe it is time for me to go and find a guy, the right guy. I don't know I am going to have to think on it a bit but maybe, just maybe tonight I might be joining that same dating site of hers and hopefully I will have the same luck as her in finding a great guy to go out with and get to know.
